I had the pleasure to spend some time, around 30 minutes, with Anthony Comer, an up and coming photographer with a lot of desire to learn. I snapped a few shots with my point and shoot and here it is one of them Enjoy!

©Vargas It is always a good idea to carry a camera with you. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph this nice lady. She was so happy to show me her engagement ring that I asked her to take a picture of her so she could send it to her friends and announce her recent engagement. She accepted right away. Fortunately, I had my Canon G9 and snapped a few shots. I got some nice pictures for my portfolio and maybe a wedding portrait session. Networking thru a point and shoot camera....

Halloween 2008

While being in an elevator with my daughter I asked her to look up. After a few minutes of postprocessing I came up with a concept that reflected the mood of the day. Most of the time you make photos and not just take them. Make your imagination add to the vision of the photos at hand. Good luck!
